PhD student studying past climate change (I spend a lot of time grinding up bits of rock and fossil tree, it's more fun than it sounds). I live in Leeds, Yorkshire at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a couple of times a few years ago and then I fell off the wagon. But I met some lovely people and I loved having to see the city I lived in from a visitor's perspective.

Only surfed once, in Paris - what a great and different experience compared to staying in a hostel! I even enjoyed the violent cat..

I could teach you to knit, speak some Welsh, play some piano.. I'd appreciate being taught bits of language and any hints and tips on how to actually play chess well would go down a treat.
