ABOUT ME

Well, I just graduated as a Registered Nurse. I am currently working as a home care nurse with kids, and I love it. I think that I am a pretty easy going person. It doesn't take much to get me excited.

I have always wanted to travel, see the world, and meet people...and I have decided that now is the time to do that.

Interests

music, movies, being outside in the sun...or in the rain, being able to walk around barefoot, food, sports (though I am much better at watching than I am at playing), learning, anything really

Music, Movies, and Books

Lord of the Rings, in book or film. I absolutely love them. I tend to love at least one movie in just about any genre, and I have seen more movies then I care to admit. I am drawn to the classic 80s movies, like Pretty in Pink, Say Anything, Stand By Me, The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, and the list goes on. I also love the typical summer blockbuster: The Dark Knight, Transformers, Iron Man, etc. But I would be happy with a mindless comedy or even the occasional chick flick.

It is an obvious statement, but I will make it anyway: I love music. Couldn't imagine even one day without it. I tend to stick to classic rock and just about anything from the 80s, but my tastes can be pretty random at times. I guess I have a lot of moods and am always looking for music to fit each one.

Peter and Wendy is one of my favorite books ever. And I have probably read Harold and the Purple Crayon more than any other book in my life. Sadly I just don't spend as much time reading as I would like to, but if you know any good books, tell me!
