About Me

I'm a friendly soul that loves life. New people, new places, new experiences. Life!

I love meeting new people and learning about others lives and cultures. I've been fortunate enough to be able to live different places around the world - 3 continents.

I'm in a great relationship with a wonderful man, my partner, Sean. We share a lot of the same interests, and , although I'm a bit more extroverted than him, he loves meeting new people, travelling and experiencing new things too!

We have two fur-babies - Lol - Mitsy and Scrapper who keep us exercised with their demands for walks. Must love dogs if you stay at ours!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I love travelling but, although hotels are nice once and awhile, they don't always allow you to have an authentic experience of the local you are visiting.

Interests

I love culture! I love meeting new people, learning new languages, etc. I love the out of doors - hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking... etc. I love music, movies, loud times, quiet times... I'm OCD and laissez-faire at the same time (depending on the situation). Lol!

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic musical tastes. I listen to almost anything. Sometimes I wonder how Apple comes up with their suggested playlist for me!? Lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if it's amazing, but I volunteered and lived in Ghana, West Africa for 4 years. I helped with capacity building in the education sector, providing expertise and training to ensure sustainably.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn from other cultures and share my experience as well. I think it probably stems with how I grew up. My parents were always very welcoming, my mother being a French-Canadian and father a Hungarian immigrant. We always welcomed strangers, vagabonds and 'strays' into our house.
