Even if I'm not able to host you, I can show you a bit of Rotterdam or grab a drink.
CURRENT MISSION
To discover a place full of unicorns and of course world domination!
ABOUT ME
I'm 32 and work parttime as a veterinary nurse.
Once we pass an awkward introduction, I can show you around my lovely hometown; Rotterdam. It has wonderful architecture, delicious food everywhere, an innovative city and a great shopping district. What more do you want, like woah.
If you can't handle sarcasm, be warned.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people around the globe, looking for places to stay and helping others with a place to stay.
Interests
I love spending reading, crocheting and more recently birding. Look at me having an elderly soul. Also enjoy working out and yoga. I like traveling; exploring different cultures, getting to know new people (and their cuisines).
Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I enjoy a lot of different kinds of music and like visiting concerts as well. But I am a major Country girl!
BOOKS:
Yes, love reading!
MOVIES:
I do enjoy a good horror movie and oh, any (ANY!) movie with Gerard Butler is perfect even the ones that suck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering in Laos. During my thesis internship in Singapore, I was asked to volunteer in Laos for a week or so. Of course I said yes! I volunteered at a Zoo in Vientiane which is being transformed into a wildlife sanctuary. We mainly worked on improving and enriching the enclosures. Really happy that I participated to make a small change to the zoo/sanctuary, but it still needs loads of improvement.
Booking surprise trips ( srprs.me ) where you'll find out the destination of your trip when you're at the airport. I really liked the not-knowing part and the excitement building up. Turned out my trip was to Valencia, Spain. A place I don't think I would have chosen myself, but it was a very beautiful city and the food YUM! Second trip was to Rome, just before the Covid lockdown. Which actually turned out great, because it was less touristy back then.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you yoga poses.
I cannot share chocolate 🙂
