ABOUT ME

Lesley (in the photo on the far left) is sweet, generous, kind, and creative. She has an adventurous spirit and loves community. As a traveler she enjoys meeting new people on trains, buses, and other places. She is an art teacher and park ranger in summers.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to follow teachings of the Dharma. I have practiced Buddhism for a long time and strive to practice a life of mindfulness and calm. I meditate some during the week, but am not strict about it. I am an intuitive, perceptive, feeling person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great experience in Santa Cruz with a host. He was kind, generous, and his place was so nice when I had to study for my EMT class in Santa Cruz.

兴趣

Being in nature is my greatest passion. I also love animals, making new friends, biking, backpacking, and exploring the unknown. Art, film, dance.

I love alternative music, old time mountain music from my home state of North Carolina, African and other international music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking across the high Sierra Nevada mountains on foot and seeing beautiful valleys and winding streams in flower-filled meadows below me. Smelling the sweet scent of pine needles warming in the sunlight on my epic 100 mile hikes. Seeing a baby cow being born on the farm where I worked- I helped deliver her.
