ABOUT ME

I'm a free spirit, I love travelling and meeting new people and getting to know new cultures. I enjoy living in different countries, trying new food and I really love art and museums! But I also love nature and animals, especially dogs.
I enjoy the little things of everyday life and spending time and a few laughs with my good friends. I am far happier when a friend calls me to say hi or happy birthday for instance
I can talk a lot when I start talking about my trips but sometimes people say I don't talk much, it's just that I prefer to listen or not to say silly things just to fill the silent moments.. silence is so precious sometimes!

I have a great apartment in downtown Chicago with a view of the Lake. Close to public transportation, bus , train, cab! Or walk if the weather allows it. Parking is extremely expensive in the city, so cars are not recommended. I have discount parking for guest in my building. I think it is $10 for 12 hours.

I wish I had found out about this community earlier, CS is a great way to meet new people who share the same interests and love for travelling and making new experiences!
Unfortunately all that glitters is not gold and I had some not very good experience too.. but still you can learn something by an unpleasant experience (i.e. how to avoid it in the future!)

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live according to a few principles: RESPECT everyone's way of living cause the world is big enough for everyone to live in peace; be earthfriendly; live and let live; do unto others as you would have them do unto you and carpe diem!!!
If one is too attached to things they become their slave: we do need things, but they don't own us!

At the moment I cannot host since I keep on moving, but I wish I could and I'm always happy to meet new CS and share chats and experiences with them.

COUCHSURFING
I have hosted many people from around the USA and from far abroad. Not sure why it only says 2 people. Also I have visited 30+ countries and have met so many new people with a variety of cultures. Each Couchsurfing event has enlightened my senses.

Interests

I love music, art (Middle Age, Romanic, Gothic), photography, nature and animals and outdoor activities: I can be quite lazy sometimes but I definitely love walking for hours and hours..
