I'm a 20-something suburbs kid turned city boy turned socially aware global citizen. I am funny and introspective, yet easygoing, traits that make me an excellent travel buddy, though lately I have been doing much of that travelling alone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm living in a spacious house in a nice neighborhood of the city. We've got a guest room and a beautiful yard full of birds. Bahir Dar is easily my favourite city in Ethiopia, and I'm happy to when I can share the wonders it has to offer with others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My personal couchsurfing experience has been limited to a one-night stint in Bali. It was lots of fun and I'd be happy to give someone else the same experience.

I am "into" music, photography, cooking, meeting new people and sleeping on couches.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finding myself alone in the massive silent and hauntingly beautiful temple site of Bagon in Cambodia as the sun went down is definitely up there, but there have been many others.

I have considerable tropical agriculture experience and have an academic background in international development, environmental science and natural systems ecology.
