About Me
I'm 26, a manager at Spencer's Coffee in downtown bowling green, and an undergrad student at WKU of Diversity and Community Studies and Religion.
I have a 5 year old son named Judah. He’s goofy, loves to dance and make jokes, fix things and is overall the most helpful kid I’ve ever known. He thinks he’s a grownup and is also a stellar reader. He taught himself how to whistle a few months ago and endlessly makes me laugh like no one else can.
Our roommate, Molly is a happy, funny, easygoing sweetheart who works for a non-profit called Kentuckians for the Commonwealth. She’s also out of town a lot.
Her border collie mix, Louise is the sweetest, gentlest puppy creature you’ve ever met. I’m not joking.
We love being house-mates 🙂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel more, but it's expensive. I work full-time, I go to school full-time, I "mom" full-time, but every summer I ache to see more of the world and for my son to as well. I love meeting new people, and developing my perception of the world and individuals within it, and having people in my home and CS seems like the ideal way to do that and build community, near and far. So far it’s worked! Thanks to you lovely people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies haven't made the priority list in the last 5 or so years, but Quentin Tarantino and the Coen brothers make great films.
Music: most world music, jazz, folk, Americana, hip hop, or Ryan Adams 😘
My son loves Jack White, Moana, Fantastic Mr. Fox and the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. 🤷🏼♀️
East of Eden -John Steinbeck
Tribe -Sebastian Junger
The Argonauts -Maggie Nelson
The Nature of Home -Greta Gaard
Elaine Pagels, Karen Armstrong (contradictory I know)
Memoirs, ethical theory, feminist theory, religious theory, and other theoretical humanity-related stuff.
Coffee magazines.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My son is 5. He's an honest, eager, compassionate no-BS taking tiny person -raising him and still managing to be a human being myself, is one hell of an accomplishment. It’s never easy, but it’s always the best thing I’ve ever done.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A shower, a couch (maybe even a bed or two depending on when), books, a guitar/piano, beer, wine, and probably a meal or two as well.
