I'm a 33 year old professional that loves to spend as much time as possible travelling. I have travelled to a fair number of countries in Europe, Central, and South America, and have also travelled to the Philippines, and around the USA.

I love meeting new people while I travel, and am still in touch with a lot of random people I have met on my trips. I believe that you never know where a chance meeting will take you - I've actually travelled 4 more times with people I met in Costa Rica 7 years ago, and we've become really great friends.

I generally am a live like a local kind of traveller, and love to do active things while I'm away, like hiking, rafting, rapelling, climbing, etc.

I live in Calgary, Alberta, and have grown up next to the Rocky Mountains, so I love to snowboard, hike, and generally be in the mountains and nature.

I still love the idea of meeting people while I travel, and I know that the couchsurfing community is generally a mix of like-minded people, so what a great outlet to bring us all together!

I like most music, though I am not a fan of metal... But I generally listen to indie and hip hop. My current fave book is Do Something Awesome. My favourite movies include Top Gun, Beaches, All dance movies, Love Actually, X Men Movies, and The Little Mermaid

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a medicinal tour of the jungle in Belize, and it was one of the most interesting things I have ever done. It's amazing what mother nature gives us, as long as we know what to look for.

I have so many travel stories to tell, and LOVE hearing other people's tales. I also lived in Spain for a year, so anything that has to do with Spanish culture, I am up for discussing, cooking, eating, etc.
