About Me
I am a Canadian student who has been working in New Zealand for the last year. I now hope to do some more travelling before returning home for my masters degree. After backpacking through Europe I heard a lot of great things about couch surfing so have decided to join! I love travelling to new places, especially ones off the beaten path, and trying new things. Lately I have really enjoyed climbing as many mountains as I am able. I have a curious mind and love meeting new people and hearing about their lives. I think one of the most wonderful parts of life is that we have an endless capacity for learning - which I strive to achieve every day from my surroundings and the people I meet. Some of my other favourite activities include hiking, canoeing, and painting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to get to know other like-minded individuals and get a local's perspective on their city. I think it is a special opportunity to really get to know the people and the place you’re in, and to learn from those around you. I hope when I return to Canada I will be able to host other travellers and show them all the things I love about my home.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am a big reader and will read practically anything under the sun. My all time favourite books are Bel Canto and the Cellist of Sarajevo.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking and trying to make new things and am happy to discuss any subject manner with anyone! I will always be extremely respectful of your space and will do my best to ensure it is an enjoyable experience for everyone.
