I am not accepting guest right now because I'm traveling.
I am very reliable and responsible but also a lot of fun. I have a big heart and a great sense of humor. I love life and good people. Traveling and meeting people is what feeds me.

I love learning new things and new cultures. Our family has hosted 12 high school foreign exchange students over the years. I also volunteered as a local coordinator for a foreign exchange company for many years.

I am always interested in a new adventure. I am in good health, physically and mentally. I love animals. I grew up in a large family in the countryside in Northern California surrounded by the beautiful Redwood trees and the Pacific Ocean.

I am couchsurfing for the same reason I travel to meet people and learn about different cultures.

Interests

My main interest right now is travel, adventure and meeting people.
I enjoy doing mosaic art, gardening and volunteering for community projects.
I love taking photographs, mostly travel landscapes and cool buildings.
I also like to cook AND eat!
Recently I started meditation and studying the teachings of yoga.
Last year I became a certified PADI SCUBA diver.
Three years ago I started learning Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy every kind of music (rap not as much). I enjoy Motown and 70's music the most. I also like American country music.

I don't go to see movies that much. I enjoy them, just haven't seen many recently. But in general, I like sappy, romantic comedies.

I don't read a lot but I do enjoy a good book occasionally.

I raised 3 children to become contributing members of society.

I have traveled to many parts of the world by myself.
