About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy and appreciate every day, while making friends and helping others.

ABOUT ME

We love travel, exploring new places, meeting new people. Around home I enjoy hiking, photography, music, writing, and spending time with my 17 year old son. My son and husband are big train fans, and hope to create a garden railway someday.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life, and try to live in the moment as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

This could include soooo much! Here's just a start, and I guess I'll keep adding more when I think of them.
Movies: Anything with Matthew Broderick (I recommend Wonderful World) Grease, Music and Lyrics, The Wedding Singer, The Sound of Music, Run Fatboy Run, also series: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, even enjoyed Lord of the Rings series (John's more into those).

Music - I enjoy most types of music. Grew up with 80's rock, so love it! Pat Benatar, Journey, Reo Speedwagon, Survivor. John likes The Alarm. We both love The Beatles, some classical music, new age, native instrumental, other ethnic music.

Books: John reads waaay more than I do: John LeCarre, Stephen King, I don't even know what else! I mostly like non-fiction, but will occasionally pick up a novel. Always read Arizona Highways Magazine cover to cover!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As part of a backpacking trip to Germany and Austria, my husband and I hiked up a beautiful forest trail, along a waterfall, up to Neuswanstein Castle. It is a magical memory. The views at the top made us feel like we were in a storybook.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn - I love learning just about anything. Always loved school. If I could be paid to go to school all my life, I would. If I could do college over, would have majored in music, or music education. Want to learn more piano, guitar, and voice. (Played cello in high school, and recently took it up again. Also sing in local community performing arts group.)

Teach/Share: I am happy to share advice/wisdom from my experiences, both personal, and my many different work experiences. Thinking of a career? Ask me, I may have briefly tried it!
