Hello! I'm Leslie. Was born in Texas, right at the border with México. Most of my life I spent in México, going back and forth to the USA. However, I feel a citizen of the world. I'm a friendly, down to earth, respectful, organized and clean person. I'm very open minded and positive. Currently studying astrology, sound healing therapy and healing arts. I find them very fascinating. I bought a car and a bike at the same time. Got rid of the car and kept the bike only. .. Love to learn, love human diversity and love life on every breath.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a traveler I know the difference between staying at a hotel/hostal compared to staying with someone that knows the place. I like to spend time with people that can reccomend me places to visit, local foods to try, things to do, etc. I'm really into the "tourist" scene. I love to experience the places as a "local". Also, I like to host people at home because I enjoy company, and I'm a firm believer that travelers should help each other. Finding a place to stay shouldn't be an impediment to travel the world!

Interests

I highly enjoy riding bikes. Any type. Mountain, road, fixie, etc. I also like hiking. I'm a nature lover. I appreciate it those moments on nature where you can breath fresh air. I love the feeling of freedom you get when you ride a bike/hike. I currently work at a bike shop and as a sound therapist. Yoga is one of my favorite things to do. It helps me a lot to stay focused, on the present moment. Plus, yoga is something you can do anywhere, anytime!
