About Me

ABOUT ME

I am 23, I live in Copenhagen and I study political science. This summer I will travel the States for 3-4 weeks and I'm looking for company and accomodation! I haven't tried CS before, but I once slept on a haylage bed for a week in France helping out a school teacher who was restoring his house..... Does that count?

I'm easy to be around; I'm curious and interested in my surroundings, I'm polite and I don't demand company all the time.. Also, I'm a bit of a handymand ;) Two weeks ago I laid a tile roof with my father.

I like to share thoughts and discuss whatever is near-at-heart late into the night with a beer in my hand. Wine can also do it.

Reading the news is important to me, and unfinished books lie all around me.. I like art, architecture and politics - and I love to discuss with others what I see, or what I think I see. I enjoy coffee every day and I love cooking diner with my roomies..

My trip this summer will mostly be to the big cities (Houston, Austin, Washington, Baltimore, NYC, Boston), but I love nature, and if I could experience some on my trip, I would be delighted. I grew up at a small farm near the sea, so nature always had a strong effect on me - especially after I moved to Copenhagen.

PHILOSOPHY

being critical and questioning towards the existing and accepted in society is always an awakener to me, hence my favorite quote "If it ain't broke, fix it".

Music, Movies, and Books

Festen
Lost In Translation
Amélie
Der Himmel Ãœber Berlin
The King of Kong
Cinema Paradiso
Goodfellas
.. and so many others. I love movies and have seen a lot and like to talk about them..!

The Doors, Pixies, Yo La Tengo, Broken Bells, Band of Horses and Leonard Cohen among others. Right now I'm exploring The Flaming Lips and My Bloody Valentine.

I'm always in the middle of several books, but too often the internet and newspapers take over and leave the books unread.. My best read was actually a political biography about Olof Palme, which I read on a trip through Italy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've driven through amazing mountain ranges in Himalaya

Teach, Learn, Share

I can fix things, bulid things - especially I like wood work.
