ABOUT ME

We are 2 sisters of 23 and 25 years old who are planning a round the world trip between July 2012 and July 2013. We want to discover the countries through the eyes of the inhabitants, where from the couchsurfing.
We do not fix precise objectives for this world tour, just follow our envy and our knocks of heart.

Nous sommes 2 sœurs de 23 et 25 ans, nous projetons de faire le tour du monde entre juillet 2012 et juillet 2013. Au delà de découvrir les pays, nous voulons découvrir les habitants et le pays à travers les yeux des habitants, d'où le couchsurfing.
Nous ne fixons pas d'objectifs précis pour ce tour du monde, seulement celui de se laisser porter par nos envies et nos coups de cœur.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to solicit couchsurfers that they make us discover their city, their country. For us, it is the encounters and exchanges that make the whole point of a trip. Only that way we can see the reality of a country, that's why we ask the couch surfers, to travel right!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are still novices but we will adjust very quickly to this way of traveling because we are both very interested in new experiences.

Nous sommes encore des novices mais nous adapterons très vite à cette façon de voyager étant toutes deux intéressées par les nouvelles expériences.

Interests

Travel of course (we have already traveled to Vietnam, Croatia, Senegal, Egypt, ...), dance (we remain modest about our level but we are still starters for an evening of salsa!), Cinema, literature, gastronomy (Coline is a true blue ribbon for my part, I love eating what others do!)

Les voyages évidemment (nous nous sommes déjà rendues au Vietnam, en Croatie, au Sénégal, en Égypte,...) , La danse (nous restons modestes sur notre niveau mais nous sommes toujours partantes pour une soirée salsa!), le cinéma, la littérature, la gastronomie (Coline est un vrai cordon bleu, quant à moi, j'adore manger ce que les autres font!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Marine: I "eat" all the books and I love all types of literature: Romain Gary, Julio Cortazar, Erri de Luca, Luis Sepulveda, Caleb Carr... everything!!
Movies: Martin Scorsese, Almodovar, Tim Burton, Miyazaki (we are still great children)... and we are also consumers of television series like Game of Throne, The Wire, Misfits, Malcolm...
Music: reggae, latin music, soul, electro (drum and bass, dubstep)... very eclectic music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two volcanic eruptions in Sicily.
Evenings in Berlin, until the end of the night!
Wilderness treks in Vietnam and Reunion.
Trek in the Annapurna (5461 meters), we did it!
Food in Vietnam and Thailand.
Be alone on the Great wall of Chine and feel so small and humbled by the work of thousands of men.
Everything is a source of discovery during travels, so many other things!!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach the patience because when we travel, it's really important. Seriously? We have many thing to learn in many areas, we don't know what can we teach (maybe the cook for Coline...) but just exchange is for us a good beginning!
