As we're now providing from Couchsurfing hosts, I want to do something back for the couchsurfing community in the future by hosting couchsurfers myself.

Student, traveling the United States between 1st of April - 6th of June 2016. Eager to travel and to meet new people! Desperately waiting to see more of the world and wander around, at least for a little while. Need some adventure. After next summer I'll study again.

We (see picture) are looking for hosts in particularly northern California & the Pacific Northwest region, i.e. Portland or surrounding area and Seattle or surrounding area. We can speak fluent English, and have our own mattresses and other sleeping gear with us so as long as we have a safe place with a roof above our heads we're good to go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me & my girlfriend are looking to travel the United States. We're looking for some places to stay a few days if possible, and looking to make new friends as well. As simple students we don't have a big budget so we're hoping some people can host us. When I have my own place in the future with a minimum amount of space I'll be more than happy to host people myself. After all, when I'm stuck in one place I won't mind bringing the world to me instead.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's plenty sorts of Music, Movies & Books I like and don't like. Impossible to name everything here. I'm not really into the combination of books and fiction. My music interests are wide, I am however not into most Rhythm & Blues, European country music, classical music or trance music. I like a whole lot of movies, I like documentaries a lot. Favorite movies include among others: The Intouchables, Pulp Fiction, Django, American Gangster, The Shawshank Redemption, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

● Travel through China, from Beijing to Shanghai by high-speed train, from Shanghai to Guilin, from Guilin to Shenzhen, and from Shenzhen to Hong Kong and home again. ● Living in Karlstad, Sweden for about 5 months and in Hamburg, Germany for 6-7 months. ● Sleep in a cold wood cabin on an island high up north in Finland, wake up devastated with no food, next supermarket or restaurant many miles away.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people from abroad. Especially from far away. I love to have a good discussion, and I enjoy seeing things from a different perspective even more. I'm an open person and like setting a challenge for myself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of things for any host interested in visiting Europe someday, whether it be having a visit to the Netherlands or just about the continent in general. Of course, if you can provide us a stay somewhere along our trip in the United States we can give you a stay in the Netherlands whenever you like, a country which is pretty much centrally located in Europe.

We'd also be more than happy to help you out with pretty much anything we can. We're simple students looking for a basic short-term stay and don't ask for anything else. We're looking to have a good time, and getting to know the hosts is definitively a plus, but not a must.

Finally, we'd like making new friends, and we enjoy having good talks and discussion about all sorts of things.
