ABOUT ME
Mabuhay!!! (Greetings!!!)
Hello I'm Lester, 36y.o., just new here on this site. I just learned about this couchsurfing thingy from a documentary on a local cable news channel. I was curious about this so I've tried learning about this stuff. I love to eat, shop, relax, cook and exchange ideas with interesting people. I'm also into arts, fashion, history and culture.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that each of us has a certain role to play in this journey known as LIFE. Along with our "unique" role is our capacity to create a difference on the lives of others, in one or the other, no matter how small or big it is. Life is too short, each second is important. Learn to appreciate things that come along our way and value the people whom we meet and deal with along this wonderful journey. Respect begets respect, love, sincerity and kindness yield unfathomable gratitude in return.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
PH is well known for its hospitable warm, friendly and hospitable people, so it made me interested to pitch on. I love meeting people of diverse backgrounds...it widens one's perspective about life. Working as a teacher in an international school gives me the opportunity to exchange ideas and cultures
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is my baptism of fire!!!
Interests
I'm so delighted when it comes to great food, arts, culture, fashion, heritage conservation, and theater. I'm a Libran, that explains my inclination with aesthetics of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
not a great movie buff but I love watching TV esp. programs that enrich the mind. as for music, I love Bossa Nova, R&B, smooth jazz and techno-trance. I'm not a bibliophile :p
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the amazing things I have seen so far is that I was given the chance to teach children; impart knowledge and help them realize their potentials.
Teach, Learn, Share
Couchsurfing for me is a best platform for cultural exchange. It's beyond a physical place to have rest and sleep. Both parties gain insights with respect to each other's culture, belief and ideologies. This is void of any form of coercion, intimidation and disrespect. I'm a teacher so I do hope that my world will be broadened and be able to learn in return by couchsurfing.
