About Me

Hi, I'm Lele :)
I'm from Brazil, I love cycling, being by the sea, cooking and engaging in both silly and deep conversations.
I'm fascinated by exploring the unknown and being in contact with diverse and open-minded people. Getting to know new cultures and places, and making connections with people that I could never meet if I was home has been a way of expanding my mind. It impacted the way I think and understand other people, myself, and the world itself.

I've been living nomadically since 2016. At some point, I stopped seeing it as travelling, and it became a life choice. I'm constantly seeking creative ways of living that can offer more generative formats for building relationships between humans and with more-than-human life.
I have gone through many phases on that journey, and I feel like I'm currently craving a bit more grounding and place-based community... I just don't know where that will be yet, and I'm okay with figuring it out slowly :)

One weird thing about me: I'm a vegan who doesn't quite like fruits (I'm trying though!).

Capoeira and meditation are two things that help me keep my body and mind at peace🙂

I am a beach person 🏖️ but I also love hikes in the mountains and camping ⛰️🏕️. I am a city person too: love hanging out at bars, street concerts, museums, parks, etc. 🏙️🎶🎷

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm traveling, I try to make meaningful connections, as much as it's posible. I see Couchsurfing as a great way to do that, since people open not only their houses, but their lives for you for a few days. I think this is a great way to start 😊

Learning is a big part of how I experience and make sense of the world.
