I'm a 20 years old girl who is in love with the world, its languages and above all its people, in all it shapes, nacionalities, tastes, origins. I grew up in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, and now live in one of the most beautiful cities of Brazil, Ouro Preto, in the state of Minas Gerais. I moved here to study Theater in the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP). I love talking and meeting new people, exchanging experiences and all the oportunities that makes us a little happier, a little more mature, a little more broad-visioners when it comes to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I was a kid I got used to receiving foreign people at my home. I remember trying to teach Portuguese with my little brother to a dutch woman that stayed with us for a while. All the people we received, from load of countries were references to me and still today are friends out there. This year I had the opportunity to travel abroad and went to Mexico for a month, participating in a course that gathered youth from almost all Latin America. It was an unique event in my life and now I work for other courses like this to happen. I believe in the encounter of people, of nacionalities, of regions. I believe in the exchange of life's beauties and sadnesses, of its simple things that in some way happens to us all in diferent shapes. That is way I am open to receive and know people through Couchsurfing.
