Dear hosts and fellow travellers,

I am Letizia, 18 years old and from Germany. As I’ve graduated from school last summer, I am now eager to follow my childhood-dream by travelling trough Europe, a beautiful and unique continent. I am not only interested in getting to know interesting people and learning lessons for life from them, but especially in experiencing the various European cultures up close. Therefore, I travelled through Easter Europe with my best friend Alina last year. We got to see so many beautiful places, met interesting people and just had an amazing experience over all.
This spring I want to discover Southern and Western Europe on my own :)

Regarding my interests and passions, I absolutely love languages, literature, history and nature and I am always keen to chat with you about these topics. As long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated in intercultural exchange and communication in general. Therefore, I’ve decided not only to learn English, Latin, Spanish, Ancient Greek and Norwegian (to different levels) but also to take advantage of every opportunity to learn something new, exciting, unique, spectacular and worthwhile. Before I start studying, I want to pursue this approach further and get to know as many cultures, people and countries as possible and I strongly believe that this adventure will shape me as a person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the concept of couchsurfing because I am fascinated in different cultures and love to meet new people. I strongly believe that this can be a unique experience for the guests as well as for the hosts and this will lead to broadening my horizon in various aspects. Along my way, I've met lovely, caring and interesting people over couchsurfing and I hope to able to build on this experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I loooooove reading and therefore could never decide what my favorite book is. However, I can tell you that I am really into fantasy and science fiction.
Music is a vital part of my life, as I love to play the guitar since I was a child. At the moment I like to listen to mainly pop music with touches of rock or country in it. My favorite song always changes and I try to mix up my playlists a lot.
My all time favorite films will always be Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.

I believe that you learn a life time long and I am really looking forward to studying. But for me learning isn't all about studying but also about exchanging experiences and learning from each other, which I am looking forward while couchsurfing.
