About Me

Hey there!
I'm 24, recently graduated from Pharmacy university and living in my hometown, Perugia . I love meeting new people, connecting with locals, when I'm traveling and showing my town to the foreigners when I'm at home.
I like to consider myself as a really open minded person, I'm really curious about other people's life styles and I love learning new things in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and share unique experiences with all the cool people around the world!

Interests

Traveling is of course my absolute favorite thing to do, but since I don't always have the possibility to wander around I have other things I love doing to kill time such as reading (yes, I'm a book worm), watching TV series (Friends, How I met your mother, GOT, Shameless and a bunch of others), taking long walks to the parks in the nearby and meeting people from allover the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music... well let's say I don't really have a genre preference. In my iPod you can find from opera to rap and everything in between. But at the moment I'm going through an all 50's-60's rock'n roll fase, so Elvis definitely my favorite at the moment.
I'm not picky about movies either, but I'm really into dramatics films.
My favorites books are: To kill a mockingbird, Of mice and men, East of Eden (and every book written by Steinbeck to be honest), Memoirs of a dutiful daughter, Un cappello pieno di ciliegie, The great Gatsby, Peter Pan... and a bunch more, but I'm not going to annoy you by listing all of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying for 3 months in Pittsburgh, PA gave me the opportunity to meet loads of cool people and have a hang on the American life style along with the chance to visit some great places such as New York, Washington DC and New Orleans, which has a special place in my heart because of the great music and food (if you can cook Jambalaya you'll totally be hosted ;) ahah).

Now that I've been on this website for a little while I can also add that lots of the amazing things I've done are directly related to all the awesome people I've had the chance to meet thanks to CS, and I really can't wait for this list to be longer and longer!

Teach, Learn, Share

At the moment I'm trying to learn German so if you know this language I'd love to practice a bit with you, even though I just know very basics things so far. Anyways I'm really curious about pretty much all different languagesand I'd love to learn some useful (or not) phrases in your mother tongue, if you're interested I could teach you some Italian in return!

I'd love to share some knowledge of Italian culture and my language along with some cool stories about traveling experiences.
