About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." (Mark Twain)
ABOUT ME
I was living and working in Ireland for 11 years. I then decided to quit my job and travel around the Americas for a year and a bit ,discovering and embracing the cultural diversities and their richness by meeting lots of new people, as well as being the witness of the spectacular nature, inherent to the American continent.
I enjoyed Latin America so much that i was back 3 months in Mexico and then Guatemala for a year, working as a volunteer in a social entrepreneurship organization, collaborating with communities around Quetzaltenango, on the Guatemalan Altiplano.
I am now embarking on a new trip, that will lead me to Madagascar, India, South East Asia, Japan, Australia and New Caledonia for a year and a bit, in the same frame of mind. Discover, share, banter and make new friends.
PHILOSOPHY
Life on planet groove and anything that keeps the same beating with positive vibes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have joined CS to gain a different traveling experience, with a better connection and socialization, among the people of the different countries I'll be visiting. As I've been backpacking for 3 years (my situation for hosting in Guatemala was a bit complicated), I've only been interested in Surfing so far. However, when I'll be dropping my bags for a while, wherever it will be, I'll definitely have a couch to spare!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had quite an extensive hosting (during my time in Dublin) and surfing (with Friends of Friends mainly in the UK, Spain, Belgium and Germany) experience but not through couch surfing.
And now with Couchsurfing I've had great surfing experiences all around.
