PHILOSOPHY
I believe that when you travel it's not important to have a bed... but it is essential to have friends! :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new here, but I'd like very much to try this alternative way of travelling. I'm very attracted by the whole philosophy of the project: get to know people! I have a couch, so I can start from this point. We'll see...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, I've been hosted by a lot of friends on their coaches or on mattresses on the floor. This has always been my favourite way of travelling.
Interests
Cinema, Tv Series (The West Wing, LOST, House MD, CSI, ER, Grey's Anatomy, basically everything...), Reading (novels and comics), Politics, Scouts, Hiking, Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball (I've played for a long time).

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: all kinds a part from horrors. "Eternal sunshine on the spotless mind" and "Little Miss Sunshine" are two of the last films I've seen that I really enjoyed. "Dopo Mezzanotte" is a great low-budget, B-side italian film set in Torino.
Books: all classic Jane Austen, Roald Dahl, "Le petit prince" by A. De Saint-Exupery, Jonathan Coe, "Shantaram" by G. D. Roberts. The last italian book I really enjoyed was "Gomorra" by Roberto Saviano, a young author from Naples. This book talks about the situation of his city, the reality of "camorra", an illegal organization.
Music: I don't remember when I last bought a CD. I'm more of a dowloading/radio person and I listen to all kind of music (except dance, metal, hard core, punk). I like to go to small festivals and pick up the music I hear. Elisa, Vinicio Capossela and Subsonica are my italian picks. MGMT, Metric, Kaiser Chiefs, Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Elliot Smith and the first Alanis Morrissette are some of my internationals... but on my iPod there is much much more!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A beautiful sunrise in the Alps, the holes of bombs in Sarajevo (not really amazing, but it was one the most shocking thing I've ever seen), the Scottish Highlands in winter, diving in the deep blue sea of Greece.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach italian cooking.
I want to learn... all you have to teach me.
I can share my passions with you in front of a good drink and nice food.
