Hey, what's up? :)

My name is Lev. I was born in Uzbekistan (former USSR) which is why I can speak Russian. I grew up in the US (Fort Lauderdale, Florida). After graduating from college and working a few corporate jobs, I realized that the corporate life and working in an office all day was too boring and not for me! After my first hostel experience in Austin, Texas, and my first trip abroad to Israel, I became hooked on traveling! I left the US in 2015 and still haven't returned! :D I moved to China for a few years where I taught English at a school, then I traveled all over Asia and Europe for a year while teaching English online. Because I was working from home I thought it would be great to get into a new hobby....so I had the wonderful idea of moving to Cali, Colombia (the salsa capital of the world) to learn how to dance salsa. I moved to Cali, Colombia in June after a few months of Salsa lessons, I gave up...even though I did learn some Salsa :D I really fell in love with this city and met so many amazing people in Cali but now it's time for another adventure! (Even though I plan on coming back to Cali, Colombia to visit :) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet people! In January I plan to travel to Santa Marta and Bogota before heading to Mexico where I plan to spend a few months traveling.
