ABOUT ME

I was born in Sydney, Australia, and spent my younger years there, after that I moved to Minnesota, USA. Now I live in Seattle, WA. I just love cats and kittens. I'm passionate about social justice but despise politics. I often wish I were nomadic. I'm a nerd for things open source.

Books:
I read a lot. I generally gravitate towards revolutionary non-fiction (Trotsky, John Reed and the like), sci-fi (Philip K. Dick, Frank Herbert) and fantasy (George R.R. Martin), Also I like things like H.P. Lovecraft, Charles Bukowski, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Hunter S. Thompson, J. Krishnamurti, B.F. Skinner, D.H. Lawrence, Jack Kerouac. It's all kind of random, but whatever.

I don't really watch many movies but here are a few favorites: V for Vendetta, Titus, Pan's Labyrinth, Howl's Moving Castle, Dark City, Rocky Horror Picture Show, District 9 and Jurassic Park.

I know how to brew good beer. I also know quite a bit about the Russian Revolution(s) (both in 1905 and 1917). I would like to learn to play the banjo.
