Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and expand my horizons

ABOUT ME

I have an off-grid tiny house on wheels and I recently got a year round job at Breckenridge Ski Resort. I'm hoping to start a tiny house community in Colorado someday, maybe in a year or two.

I got a Wellness Fitness degree from UW-Superior in 2011, then I taught English in South Korea for 2.5 years, when I got back from Korea I got a Natural Resource degree, for the last four months I was a Wilderness Ranger at the Bighorn National Forest. I will be starting a new job at Breckenridge Ski Resort on Oct. 3rd.

I'm an easy going guy who likes to hang out with his friends and travel. I went to school at the University of Wisconsin Superior for 5 years were I received my Bachelors in Wellness Fitness and minored in Health. Then I went back to school to get my associates in Natural Resources. Right now I don't really know what I want to do with my life, I'm just going to try and find something that I enjoy doing and hopefully I can make enough money with it that money isn't an issue. I dont need to get rich or anything, I just want to be happy. I really like to travel and I feel that you can learn a lot more about yourself and the people around the world from traveling than you can from a book or from the TV.

PHILOSOPHY

I dont know why my personal philosophy is, that seems like a hard question to answer. One way of saying my personal philosophy is to live life how you want to, do what makes you happy. I currently am not living my life exactly how I want to but I'm hopping that it will change soon

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met up with a couple people in Thailand and they gave me advice on where to go during my trip. I have been in contacted with a few more people about trips I want to take, if everything works out. Some places I want to go are Peru, Russia, Amsterdam, Ireland, England, Greece, and mny more.

Intereses

Snowboarding, Slacklining, Swimming, hiking, hanging out with my friends, traveling, and so much more

As I said before I love to hang out with my friends but I'm also always open to making new friends. Some of the people I've traveled with in the past commented on how I talk to strangers to much lol but I like to meet new people and make new friends.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I would say the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me was when my friend Gibbs and I were at the Full Moon Party in Thailand. We had taken a boat to the island for the party around 9pm, we got to the party and started drinking and having a great time. We had so much fun! We did fire limbo, jumped over fire pits, climbed some scaffolding that we weren't suppose to climb and some of it was on fire with the words FULL MOON PARTY, we climbed up ropes that were on the side of a building and slid down a slide, danced on top of platforms in the middle of the crowds and there were a shit ton of people there I think like 45,000 people, but anyway we got pictures of everything and video of some of it then, around 3pm or so Gibbs and I were like "well we spent all out money and the camera doesn't have anymore room on it for pictures so lets get going" so we left the beach and started walking back to the dock. On the way to the dock I saw a taxi truck and I was like "lets jump on the back of that and get a free ride" so we did and then five minutes later we realized we were going the wrong way so we jumped off and onto a different one. Then after we were ridding that one for about ten fifteen minutes the taxi driver stopped and asked me for money, not Gibbs just me, and I told him I didn't have any so he kicked me off and Gibbs stayed o, I was like "ok I guess I'll meet you at the dock". Seeing how I was in the middle of a jungle on an island I didn't know I just started walking. I was walking until about 9am when an Australian guy found me and gave me a ride to the docks on his mopped, that guys is awesome! I wish I remembered his name! So anyway I found the dock and took the boat back to my island where I had to walk 2 hours to get to my resort where I finally got to take a nap..... the really shitting thing is that after Gibbs and I got split up the taxi drivers robbed Gibbs. They had stopped a while after they kicked me off and asked Gibbs for money but he didn't have any either so they searched his pockets and found his camera and took it. The other people on the taxi could have lent or given him the money for the taxi, which was only like 3 dollars, but they didn't so we lost all our pictures and video of the night :(

It was a good experience and a good story to tell though
