Hi, my name is Levente, I'm a 25 years old chemist living in Budapest. First I registered to couchsurfing, because I saw it as a nice way to cut my spendings while travelling. I haven't travelled since that, but I realized that hosting is just as much fun!

Right now I have full time job and living by myself in a cozy apartment, which I'd like to share with travellers. I love meeting people from all around the world, and your travel stories keep me motivated. Your experiences might also be useful when I go on my own journey :D
In favour I'm gladly showing you around in the city, and I can show you some cool but more hidden places. I'm pretty relaxed, and like to spend time with my guests, I'm open to many activities.

I have travelled a lot myself before, and I have a load of hobbies which I switch between maybe too often. Love nature, hiking, camping, sunsets, and exploring forgotten places.

Keep my houseplants alive (medium)
Spending more time with things I find meaning in (very hard difficulty)

I hope I can meet new people, who can teach me anything new. And I hope that in exchange I can make their day better and have some fun.
(Practicing the language and being motivated to clean my place is also an advantage)

To be honest, i have too many interests to handle 🥲
I love hiking, cycling, or just being in nature, exploring abandoned places, travelling, photography, reading about history and science, learning languages, collecting maps, going to concerts (alternative rock/prog metal mostly). I studied chemistry, and I like making some experiments at home as a hobby (nothing illegal hehe). I'd like to get into bouldering as well.
