One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While sitting and carving some walking sticks with a friend of mine at a magnificent lookout point of Moosehead Lake in Maine, a guy stopped and being that my friend and I both love to meet people, we of course got into conversation. After a couple minutes of talking, he explained that he was on his way to visit some friends at their lake house. We said our goodbyes and he headed off........
10 minutes later he returned and extended an invitation to come back to the lake house with him! We followed him to the most magnificent log cabin overlooking the lake. Had a dinner of homegrown vegetables from the garden. Enjoyed jamming with a guitar and djembe on the dock while overlooking the mountains and lake as the sun set. A bonfire that night, and an early morning wake up to a short canoe trip on the lake. So cool to meet new people and share in awesome experiences!
