ABOUT ME
Undergraduate Hydrologist on student exchange in Sweden and an Expedition Film Maker, a very relaxed, genuine and friendly Australian guy full of positive energy and allways with a smile.
I have hosted well over 50 guests with my brother at my beach apartment in my home town of Cairns in Australia (next to the Great Barrier Reef). I created this new profile once I started traveling alone so that he could still use the old one for incomming couchsurfers in Cairns. My old profile is now called "James Farrand" and it is well verified and contains many more references of the good times and amazing experiences I've shared on CS.org
For me in general I am pasoinate about expedition film makeing, travel and rock climbing. From this I do my best to get out and amongst the world by any and all means possible, Kayaks, Horseback, Dirt bikes, Road Bikes, Trekking, Dolphins, surfing sea turtles, taming polar bears, You name it!
This is my first time as a trveler on CS.org, after my incredable times hosting I am ethusiastic with anticipation as I travel (and hopefully couchsurf) through eastern europe this summer. I am a very polite guest and I love to cook dinner for my hosts and help out around the house where ever I can.
I also have an aditional website that may give some more insight into my film making goals if anyone is interested or wants to know more about me.
PHILOSOPHY
I have alot of experience hosting and greatly appriciate and understand what it measn to be invited into someones home via CS.
From this I am a very polite guest, I have great respect for others property, lifestyles and personal space. I love to cook dinner for my hosts and help out around the house where ever I can. I am librally minded and love to share all I have to offer as often as possible.
I have been an outback tour guide accross the australian deserts and rainforests for much of my life. This has given me an exceptionally outgoing and welcoming charachter, traveling accross such wonderous landscapes with such diverse groups of people, sharing lifes experiences and the beauty of nature has been nothing less than inspireing and very influential on my outlook on life.
