ABOUT ME

I'm in the navy and ready to see more of the world! I've done lots of travel in the united states and a little over seas. I found that I appreciate the small stops more and more since all the large tourist attractions seem to be so commercialized.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to advance, learn, grow, and become better. I am constantly trying to be the best person I know how to be. I also like to believe that in my quest for perfection I make the world a little better by treating people like I want to be treated.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I move around and get stationed at different places, I will always leave my couch open to anyone who wants to swing by. I'm not always available since I wind up spending many months in a row underwater on a sub, but when I am, I'm happy to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I seem to be better at hosting then staying! I never get a chance to go anywhere! But everyone who's stay's enjoys the time here.

Centres d'intérêt

I love a wide variety of things. I love frisby, indie music, art, sculptures (I'm horrible at art though, I just love looking at it), concerts, a bit of drinking (I am in the Navy), Computer games, writing, reading all kinds of books, studying physics, and generally advancing my goal to one day work for NASA.

There is not enough space on the internet for all the books I love. But I'll try and give an idea.

Dougles Adams and all his works. Neal Asher (The best author you've never heard of for Sci-fi) Terry Pratchett and all his works, Paul Neilan - Apathy and other small victories, and many many others.

For movies I'm into everything. Last thing I watched was "The Watchmen" and loved it. Also liked 5th Element, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Transporter, Lord of the Rings, You kill me, and many others.

Music, I used to DJ at a public broadcast station called WYCE (Folk, blues, jazz, world beat, and modern rock coming at YOU!) so I love a large variety. Only things I can't stomach are Rap with no meaning (I don't care about your car, women, or money) and country with no meaning (I don't care that you don't have a car, money, or any women) or too much twang.

When I was in Germany I saw the Castle that the Disney castle is based on. I can't spell it but it was awesome. When I was in China I got lost in the forbidden city. It was awesome fun. When I was in Japan I could never get enough of the bullet trains or the food. God I love Japanese food.

Teach: Flow is important to life. Take things in stride and keep on moving. When things start bogging you down just take a look and put it in perspective.

Learn: I'm always bettering myself, so there's always more to learn!
