Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess I'm on couchsurfing for the same reasons as most other couchsurfers.
Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to people with a limited budget to see and get to know places. It also helps people who are genuinly interested in getting to know people from other cities or countries. Of course you can travel to a place and try to meet local people but why not use couchsurfing to make it a little bit easier and to actually stay with local people.
