ABOUT ME

All about me? What a difficult question. I definitely can´t give you the answer to this. But I can give you the chance to get to know me, so that maybe through your eyes I will find out a little bit more who I am. So let´s find out who we are and where we stand in this world!

besides: I´m a student of engineering. I love travelling (I think that´s what we have all in common here, isn´t it?) and I spend a lot of my leisure for it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

sharing experiences and great moments. That´s what´s it all about for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I participated in a volunteer service in Mexico. In this time I tried couchsurfing for the first time by travelling and surfing couches in Mexico, Guatemala and Belize and I got addicted to travelling. There´s no better way to explore than with the locals.

always open for something new. Doing something for the first time is one of the best times.

I´m very interested in different cultures, religion and traditions. I really like to do sports and to try new ones.
Learning and applying different languges is not just a hobby for me but also the only way to understand the culture and the way of thinking of the native speakers properly.
I love to listen and dance to good music. I also like to play guitar and to sing, although I don´t really know a lot about it.
In my time in Mexico I started dancing slasa and bachata (there´s no way not to try it ;)) and made it to my new hobby. Later I tried Tango and practiced it in Istanbul. Throughout my life time I also tried some martial arts and would also love get to know more about it.
I´m interested in books and movies about social issues and I love to philosophize in a comfortable ambience everybody on his one way.
Last but not least as an energy engineer I´m very interested in renewable energies, electrification of energy poor regions and power system economics.
I like to get to know and discuss ideas and experiences about how to live a more sustainable and peaceful life.

In my opinion this is the greatest advantage of couchsurfing: learning and teaching just by living a couple of time together.
