Overview
About Me
Hey, there! I’m a brazilian backpacker who loves to come across with new challenges; that's why traveling is one of the most exciting things in my life – makes me reinforce genuine values and expand my empathy circle. I've been living in Argentina for four years (can't believe it!) and still is my cozy home, where I like to do Swásthya Yôga, bicycle rides on my fixie, open air readings and vegan cooking with my friends. Minimalism and nonviolence are my main guides.
By the way, you can call me Galgo ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Local people make you feel like a local as well. Also, exchanging life experiences makes us more empathetic, so why not?
Couchsurfing and its people had a big impact in the way I see the world and how we could change it for the better. It all depends on the glasses you put on.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Smiths is one of my favorite bands and I'm really into electronic music (ambient, downtempo, house, techno etc). Also indie, progressive and alternative rock, post-punk, MPB, samba, bossa nova and the list goes on…
About the movies, I prefer genres like animation, drama, musical and horror. I know it sounds cliché but some of my favorite directors are David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick and Wes Anderson.
Finally, I read sort of everything: novels, short stories, BBC articles and every-label-product-in-the-house.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I named my cat “Chanclas” because it was one of the first spanish words I've learn. It means flip-flops.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't see myself as a professor of anything, but I do know how to cook a delicious brazilian rice and how to move my ears without touching them.
It would be really useful to learn some french and arabic, and of course how to make good vegan food while camping.
We can share Yoga practices, awesome meals and stargazing moments.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Which leads me to another set of random stuff we could dialogue about, like cake recipes, breathing techniques or political opinions. I'm an open-minded person and I would love to show you a bit of the Buenos Aires I live in.
