About Me
Born between 2 mountains ranges, I love being outdoor. Travelling, hiking, climbing make me feel alive. I wish my life could have been purely made of adventures, meetings and discoveries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my last trip in India, I met a german couple. They told me about couchsurfing. Thats why I'm new in this community! Home stays are for me the best way to discover the culture, the place you are travelling to. But planned home stays ! What else ? :) To me, it's always a pleasure to host friends, and friends of my friends. I'm sure hosting couchsurfers would be a pleasure too. However, I never made this experience, and I'm pressed to!
My girlfirend is studying visual communication in Lyon. She is attentionned and really open minded :)
Interests
I'm going out as much as I can. Moutaineering in the Alps, or in Marseille creeks, surfing in the SE of France, playing rugby with my mates.. I really need some adrenaline!
I like hearing new types of music too, chilling with my friends, watching movies..

Music, Movies, and Books
Alton Ellis, Gregory Isaac, Neil Young, Lou Reed, Guts, Ennio Morricone, Pink Floyd, Led zep, Hendrix, Paul & Fritz Kalk, Queen, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Chinese man, Justice, Reinhardt, Brown, the Who, Wax Tailor, Rodriguez...
I tryed to read On the road by Kerrouac, novels by Tesson (a french writer), but I'm not in fond of reading books, except comics.
I liked The old man and the sea by Hemingway
Films : Burton's, Cohen brothers', Scorcese's, Leone, Eastwood, Cool runnings, Into the wild, Apokalyps now, Usual suspects, The Deer Hunter, Once upon a time in America, Heat... I like Robert Deniro as an actor.. Doubtless!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Through my master degree, I've been foreman on a big construction site for 10 weeks in Port Antonio, Jamaica. Throughout this period, I discovered the culture, learn the "patwa" (local dialect), taste fruits that I never heard about.. That was really huge!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty bad cooker. I only know few things that are not especially from France : tiramisu, chicken curry, carrot cake.. But it's always a pleasure to try some cooking tricks and make people surprised.
Otherwise, I'm trying to learn spanish by myself, but it's quite hard. "Hola que tal ? Yo quiero una cerveza por favor !" is the only sentence I'm sure about.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach survival basis : how to climb a coconut tree, how to open a coconut with a knife, and much more tricks...
More seriously, I'd be glad to share my experiences, advices about country I've been to, for instance!
