About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world and experience its beauty in as many ways as humanly possible

ABOUT ME

We are a happily travelling couple who saved up as much as they could after university and have been traversing the planet since October 2009.

We enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories of life on the road. Eating is also a big pasttime of ours. Foods from all across the globe have tantalised our tastebuds, which we have kept recipes of which we would be happy to share.

Both from large families and enjoy being around people.

PHILOSOPHY

We live everyday to its fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When we return home from our trip we would be happy to host people and share our country with them.

Interests

We both enjoy all aspects of sport; football is a big passion of mine (lewis) in particular but we both like being active. White water rafting, caving, trekking, swimming, sailing.

We like partying in all its various forms from clubbing to just pubbing. Each new city we reach offers new cultures and we enjoy immmersing ourselves in these.

Music, Movies, and Books

We appreciate all types of music and film, from electro to hip hop and scarface to the notebook.

Han has always been an avid reader and I have recently upped my game and read classics such as Shantaram and Shogun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have climbed to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal. With just a map in our hands and our backpacks we guided ourselves up to 13,500 feet over 5 days taking in the breathtaking views before spending 4 days going down.

walking through small hill tribe communities was an amazing experience made all the better after trekking 6 hours each day to get there.

Standing at base camp with snow capped mountains all around us and the brightest stars we have ever seen was incredible.
