About Me
Hey there, I'm Lew, 22 going on 30 when my old rugby and cricket injuries start acting up. Living with the aches and pains of a seasoned hooker and wicket keeper, you know? I'm a bit of a lone wolf at times, but every now and then, I'm all about chasing after some wild adventures and making friends along the way – hence this big life shake-up I'm diving into this March/April.
Been grinding away as a marketing exec for the past 5 years, but I'm open to rolling up my sleeves and tackling any job that comes my way while I'm out there.
Oh, and I've got a thing for whipping up tasty meals. If I end up sticking around, count on me to throw together at least one delicious dish for you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Embarking on a thrilling journey, I've decided to call Aotearoa (New Zealand) home for a year - or more - of exploration and adventure! As I dive into the vibrant Kiwi lifestyle on a working holiday visa, I'm on the lookout for temporary accommodation to stay in while I navigate this journey.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is all over the place – it's like a wild mix of sounds and beats. Picking a single favourite would be like trying to cram a whole playlist into one track.
Now, when it comes to films, The Perks of Being a Wallflower is my my favourite. It's got that real, relatable vibe that hits differently. But, I have admit, I'm a bit of a nerd and I love The Lord of the Rings, it may have influenced my decision on the destination
Turning the page towards books, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini is up there when considering my favourites. It is an emotionally driven masterclass with a beautifully tragic narrative - I wholeheartedly would recommend.
