ABOUT ME
Hi, my name's Artur!
I won't write too much about myself as I'd like you to discover my personality and who I really am by yourself, but here's a few brief informations:
- As you can already see, my name's Artur;
- I studied Russian philology at University of Wrocław;
- I'm a major language junkie and love to talk about them;
- I listen to all sorts of very different music;
- I'm very friendly, talkative and sociable and I can't wait to meet some new great people ;)
PHILOSOPHY
I'm definitely a risk-taker, preferring not to bother myself with thinking about the future. I try really hard to be a person of a good influence and I believe that leading a good example can create lasting effects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's a great idea and wonderful way to travel. I really believe it encourages people to open up, take some risks and meet new, interesting and very diverse people. So far, I've surfed and hosted only a few fellow couchsurfers, but it has always been a wonderful experience:)
Interests
My biggest hobbies are foreign languages and music. I'm also into climbing, so if you share this passion with me, I'd love to show you great places to climb in Wrocław!

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I listen to almost any genre and I love experimental stuff. I listen to a lot of post-rock, electronic, metal, sometimes rnb or rap... But I'm definitely a grunge guy at heart ;)
I like to read books about war, one of my all-time favourites is "All Quiet on the Western Front" by Erich Maria Remarque. I also absolutely love Terry Pratchett with whom I share my day of birth ;)
Movies - I can find something interesting in most of the genres! But usually watch dramas :) I loved "3 Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri", one of the more powerful movies for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think visiting Toledo was just a breathtaking experience, that made me fall in love with that city immediately. It completely blew my mind and made me hopelessly fall in love with Spain.
I really hope, though, that the best moments of my life are not past me but still yet to come!
Teach, Learn, Share
It's hard to tell, really. I love to learn about languages, all the tiny things in them, hwo are they connected with each other... I just love to discuss it and if you're into it as well, I'm sure we'll have a fun conversation. Also, I can tell you something about my country and culture, so that you may get to know it better:)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine
