ABOUT ME

I'm 33, working as a researcher at SINTEF Petroleum Research in Trondheim. I love traveling and meeting new and interesting people, and try to do it as often as possible.

I have previously both been studying, taking a PhD and working as a postdoc at NTNU, so I also know my way around the university :-) Therefore, if you have questions or need some help related to the univeristy, I can probably help (or at least point you in the right direction...).

I am originally from Larvik, in the south of Norway, but moved to Trondheim some years back for my university education. And I have stayed here ever since... ;-)

My friends claim that I am open-minded and easy to get in contact with. And in general a quite relaxed person (perhaps too relaxed at times...;-) ). Also, I can be a bit impatient and get easily bored when nothing new and exciting happens... :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by providing accommodation in Trondheim for cool people visiting the city, looking for nice experiences and new friends.

I can only host when I'm in Trondheim myself. And since I travel quite a lot with my work, please contact me to see if it fits.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never tried surfing myself. Probably because I prefer to have it a bit comfortable when traveling and therefore usually ending up in hotels ;-)

During the summer of 2012 I have hosted several travelers at my apartment in Trondheim. They have all been great people and I have really enjoyed their company.

I recently went to Australia for the first time. And tried out tandem skydiving and rafting :-)
