I'm 21 from the United Kingdom. I graduated this summer (2016) and booked myself a one way ticket to South America with the aim the explore, climb mountains, learn Spanish and continue developing iPhone apps (trying to turn my hobby into a full time occupation!).

I love travel (South America will be my fifth continent!), self development (bit of a book nut!), health and fitness (running and football!), language learning and watching live music!

I'm not a big drinker but I love going out and socialising and definitely would take anyone up on the offer of an early morning run!

Having hosted many people I've met travelling at my university digs in Manchester I know how a connection between a traveller and a local is such a great thing for both sides. I love the premise of the site and want to couch surf on my current trip to Peru before renting an apartment in Arequipa and hosting fellow travellers!

- One of my favourite things to do is to read non-fiction books, the happiness hypothesis, the case for mars, zero to one by peter thiel and bill bryson a short history of everything have been some of my most recent favourites.
- The 7 habits of highly effective people is my favourite book and the book that's had the most effect on me.
- I do love fiction as well and the alchemist, dorian grey and all John Green books have been great great reads!
- And as a teenager the noughts and crosses, harry potter and hunger games series were also much loved!

Music
- The most diverse iTunes library possible! (My most listened to music is probably big rock bands but i'll press shuffle and switch between an old jazz song and Kanye)
- Biffy Clyro (have seen many times!), Oasis, The Arctic Monkeys, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Gaslight Anthem, Coldplay, The Wombats
