I've had the pleasure of hosting many friends I've met travelling in Galway and Melbourne but therefore no review left!

I have done a fair bit of travelling and love it. The primary school I used to work at in Melbourne gave me 12 moths off to travel in 2015 and here i am still going :)
Travelled South America for 5 months, lived in Colombia for 1 month then flew to UK to teach in London for 2 years with trips to the Israel, Jordan, Morocco and Europe. When that finished i flew to the Yucutan, Mexico and Cuba for 6 weeks and then moved to Banff, Canada for 2years working as a bartender.
May 2019 I left Banff to live in a van down west coast USA, Baja California and the plan is to drive to Panama, Lets see!!
Covid ended that in May 2020 and I flew back to Australia to work for 2 years and finished the trip with buses/hostels this time!
Followed the Ashes around the UK 2023 with a friend and lived in Galway 2024 and now on a Euro trip aiming to finish in Egypt.

I love my sport, primarily cricket, hockey and Australian Football (Youtube AFL for Beginners - youll love it). I also love hiking, people that bake, garlic bread, bakeries, scuba diving and anything outdoors - esp hiking.

TV: comedy, Sci fi, fantasy, TV series (at the moment rewatching Scrubs and Friends for the first time).

Music: Favourites are Ocean Alley, John Butler Trio and Disturbed but enjoy a whole range!

So I can meet locals and travel for longer! Everyone knows the touristy stuff, only locals know all the best stuff.
I've had various people I've met overseas stay with me in Melbourne and when I get back I'll set up a hosting profile.

-14 days bushwalking in Tasmania (yes it's thw part of Aus tho often forgotten!)
-Taught a deaf boy who taught me some Auslan.
-Lived with Polar Bears.
-Drank a guiness in every Irish county.
-Roadtrip to see a total solar eclipse from Banff to Idaho Falls.
-Movie dad with my nephews.
-Lived in a van for a year.
-Been adopted into a Hawaiian woman's family after meeting her in Churchill, Canada.
-Hiked Acatenango in Guatamala.
-Had many friends from other languages teach me a sentence in their language.
-Sailed San Blas islands from Panama to Colombia

Australia is such a young country that we dont have a lot of uniqness i can bring to you except VEGEMITE!! You wont like it but we all love it!
If you have an oven i can bake something Aussie too.
Other then that, i can tell you about our oh so scary wildlife and teach you some Aussie words.
I will do all your dishes so please leave them for me. Yes i know 'but youre my guest' but youre letting me stay for free and teaching me about your wonderful country - let me wash the dishes!!
