hi!! im 21 years old originally from Scotland. everything in my life changed on the 29/03/13. leading up to this date I had been deeply thinking about the problems of humanity, the suffering and destruction of it all. On this date something clicked, the light went on. I was struck by this immense surge of energy and clarity. It was some kind of epiphany or what some may call a spiritual awakening. My awareness of all and everything heightened. I stopped a lot of bad habits and felt for the first time that I was actually living after suffering from a few years of on and off depression. It was all such a drastic transition and so very intense that I thought I had gone mad like many friends and co workers were saying. However the more time that went on the more people I met who had experienced the same. I believe my chakras were very well aligned back then and had opened. I am much more grounded and feel like I have much more understanding for what I experienced. I strongly believe that everyone is on earth for a reason, mine I know for definite after that experience is to help others and I want to do so. I think it is very important to follow your inner voice and trust it. it took me months to find the courage to trust my inner voice and quit my job, I thought id fail without it and had labelled myself to that job title. I eventually snapped and quit the job I hated so much, I went backpacking around France for 6 weeks and within the first week I knew I made the best decision of my life, I nearly cried with happiness and sheer joy at the love I had for life.
I then went to Spain to teach English in a school for children aged 4-12 which was a great experience and also gave me time to reflect on my time in France and everything I had learned.
after 3 months in Spain I came back to Scotland for new year when I soon left for London. I spent a month there exploring the city and staying with different friends I had met while traveling, London is an interesting place but for me city life isn't for me, I missed nature and the air was thick from bus fumes.

i am now back home in scotland after a 4 month hitchhiking adventure round eastern Europe and turkey

i would say i am a very open minded person, im easy going and get along with people from all walks of life. i have a positive outlook on life.

I really want to experience life in a self sufficient community.

my hobbies and interests - travelling! writing, reading, deep conversations, photography, socialising, nature, animals.

i am a seeker of truth and further understanding.

i believe wealth should be measured by contentment and happiness.

life is about experience not the hoarding of objects.

ı dont lıve lıfe for myself but for others. seeıng another happy makes me happy

hmm i think bringing people alittle happiness now and then has been the most important thing iv done. i believe that if im not helping others then im wasting my time.
the most amazing thing iv done has been escaping the illusion of society, having self faith and going travelling
