Hello! I am traveling South and Central America with my girlfriend Molly. Currently living in Valparaiso for a month to learn some Spanish, drink some good wine and make new friends!

Back home I worked in the wine trade, selling and educating people about fermented grape juice. I am using the time in Valparasio to understand a little bit more about wine in Chile and Argentina.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For several reasons.

I would like to host an informal tasting about wines of chile - a non profit thing - just a chance for some lovely people to drink some lovely wines.

Also. I would love to practise my basic Spanish with somebody. And in return I could help with English too. My Spanish is terrible...

I love all music. A huge Bowie fan. Love electronic, like New Order, Depeche Mode. Love Led Zep and Radiohead too. Bought a ticket for primavera in Barcalona.. Very excited..

Can help with anything wine and food related. Ex chef, had a go at being a sommelier and now, sell wine.

Would love to improve my Spanish. And keep learning about food and wine.
