About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Surf Sydney!! Arrrgh!

ABOUT ME

Recently left Exeter which is a really great city and it was great to be near my family, especially my three nephews. Now just arrived in Brisbane and hoping to stay here for a while, after another four months in Vietnam (I couldn't help myself, I had to do another bike trip on the way to Oz!). I firmly believe in the essential goodness of people and this site seems to prove that it's true!

PHILOSOPHY

stop children, what's that sound? Everybody look what's goin down...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf! I will host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Paris and had a great host in Ludo... I've hosted couch-surfers in Ho Chi Minh city and always enjoyed sharing my experience of the city, helping people get the most out of their time and avoid potential pitfalls.

Interests

I love snowboarding and anything else that gets a bit of adrenaline pumping, films, socialising and all kinds of games... especially pool and scrabble! And I love languages, learning them, and meeting new people in them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: (it's not a movie it's a film)
Music: Meatloaf of course
Books: The hungry caterpillar, Le planetarium, everything Terry Pratchett ever wrote... other good books (most of which, surprisingly, are not recommended by George Dubya)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving the Ho Chi Minh Highway in Vietnam on a Minsk motorbike was probably my best travelling experience ever.

Going to the Taj Mahal was amazing but even better was that the incredibly cheap hotel district around it meant that I could wake up and see it in a hazy sunrise every morning from my balcony.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English real good, French pas terrible. (Oui, merci, je me rends compte que ca veut dire que je n'en parle pas trop)

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, India, Malaysia, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
