Hi there! My name is Lewis, I am 18 years old and I am from Cambridge, United Kingdom. I went to boarding school from ages 4 to 16, and I am now studying at the Army Foundation College in Holt, England to join the British Military.

As a young individual, I take great value in meeting new people, specifically traveling abroad and exploring different cultures. I often visit the United States, and I recently discovered couch surfing as a new way to connect with people. It seems like an amazing way to learn how people really live and it gives me a better idea of where I want to live in the future!

When I travel, I enjoy skydiving. It is a hobby that I take pride in and I started skydiving when I was 16. I have over 200+ skydives now, and I enjoy sharing my stories and somewhat unique life with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing not only to connect with strangers from around the world, but to give me a reason and opportunity to go to places I never thought I'd go! With couch surfing, I can create new friends in various parts of the world and not be alone in my journeys whilst traveling.

I am really social and I enjoy meeting people, and it definitely makes traveling more exciting for me. With that being said, I also want to give other people the opportunity to meet me on here, so I can share stuff from my life too!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music usually is from the 80's. I like the older, more meaningful and original music. It is like a time machine back to that era when you listen to it. My favorite song overall is 74-75 by the Connells. I think it came out in 1993. It sort of represents time passing to me, and remembering good times.

I don't watch a lot of movies honestly, but my favorite film series is James Bond, but I also like the original Top Gun movie from the 80's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a stranger skydiving over the desert in Arizona. It was their first time! We started speaking online and being I was taking a trip to near where they lived, I offered to take them skydiving. They agreed and we had an absolute blast! We had only been friends for a month at the time. What an experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to drive a manual car as a European 😂

I'd love to learn how to rock climb... that would be awesome

And I like going on walks, or cooking!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Couchsurfing is about meeting people, but I also understand it involves inviting a stranger into your home. To make my visit worthwhile for the both of us, I wish to help out whilst I stay. I would like to make an impact, even small during my visit and help with whatever is needed. I would love to talk and learn about you and share stuff about me as well, because we all have very different and unique lives.
