ABOUT ME

Like most humans, I am a robot made of meat.

I'm originally from Iowa in the middle of the US, but my family left the country when Bush (the second) was elected, so I went to high school in Tanzania (where my parents worked for the UN) and university in Cambridge UK. Now I'm working on a Maths PhD in New York City. I manage to get quite a bit of time off, during which I try to learn as much as possible, and see as much of the world as possible, on as little money as possible.

Have only couchsurfed once through this site, but many times through friends and other connections, and hope to do so more in the future.
