About Me
Oye, I'm Lexi and I'm a directionally challenged world traveler. Se habla español and I love going on adventures outside! My favorite thing to do is spend time in nature, whether with rock climbing, biking, hiking, reading, having a beer/coffee outside, anything. I am also a huge music person, mostly with alternative/indie bands, but I would love to try out whatever you're into!
During college, I was supposed to study abroad in Spain for a few weeks, but extended my trip shortly after arriving to stay for 3 months. Since then, I've been a travel bug! I studied abroad in Costa Rica (pura vida mae), volunteered on a service project in Peru, worked in Mexico for 2 summers, and now I am backpacking Eastern Europe.
I think there's a huge difference between "tourism" and "traveling". For me, traveling is about meeting the local people, learning about them, and sharing our experiences with each other. Then I carry these memories of the wonderful people I meet wherever I go. I would love to make some new pals abroad!
PS: If you want to know more about me and my values, check out my blog! I update it about 2 times per week and it's about living life everyday with the spirit of travel. If we meet maybe I can write something nice on there about you :) www.lexirobertson.com

Music, Movies, and Books
The current band I'm listening to is Rainbow Kitten Surprise (funny band name but amazing music). I am a huge reader, my favorite books are The Book Thief, The Alchemist, and The Giver. Movies...so many. I love 500 Days of Summer, He's Just Not That Into You, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I love recommendations for books, movies and music so let me know what you're into.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I jumped off the highest bungee jump in Central America!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really interesting in learning about real culture. I think that's so important when abroad. Whether with cooking, language, or lifestyle, I love to share my culture and learn about yours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make a delicious Mexican dish called Chilaquiles for breakfast, or we can relax with a beer/coffee. I will be your adventure buddy :D
