About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet give everyone in the world a big fat smile...I hope I can meet them all?

ABOUT ME

Hmm, what to say...
I suppose what is most relevant to you, if you are considering me in your home, is I CAN COOK!
I am very happy and easy going but I keep to myself unless I'm around people who really ignite me and then I'm a different story all together, can't shut me up or calm me down.
I am not religious but I respect all religions and I have an open mind.
I have lived in shared houses since I was 16 so I know very well how to take care of myself and keep out of everyone's way when needed.
Im caring and generous and love to really get to know the people I meet.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy...

For me the most important people in this world is your friends and family, of course.
I live my life by Truth, Equality and Respect.
I give as much as I can of these things to everyone I come across and try to see the world from many aspects and understand the perspective of others.

I suppose I just believe in being good, happy and by doing so I hope it is an encouragement for others to aspire to the same simple goal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cook as I said, 8 years of experience does not go astray when rustling up some dinner.
Cleaning is not so much a chore for me, more of an activity I use as an excuse to sing and dance by myself.
I love kids and animals so if the dog needs walking or the kids need quieting, Im always more than happy.
Anything I can do or give to others is always on offer from me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first 'Couch Surfing' attempt but in my years of share houses I have housed many many guests and stray travelers in my home, or on the porch or in the hammock or in the van or a tent... wherever we can fit them in...and it's always a grand experience. Sometimes bad but mostly good and fun.
I love to meet new people but it will be an entirely new experience for me to be the guest and not the host...daunting! I am a pro at hospitality, but I think I am as fun and well behaved as my most favourite guests from the past years.

Interests

I love photography and it is my main hobby.
Sadly I have been traveling months without my cameras...I'm into film shots, not so much the digital stuff.
I love to develop my own photos and just muck around with different ideas I have.
Reading and writing is how I keep myself sane and music is my passion. I love music and I love all kinds of music but I can't stand country music or cheap pop.

I'm never sure what to say about interests, I mean, almost everything interests me, things I don't even know if I'm interested in until I come across it.
I live life like a child and every experience is new and fresh so Im interested in life, i suppose?

Lord of The Flies, William Golding. Misery, Steven King.
Anna Karenina, Leo Tolstoy.
Thai Die, Greg Fleet.
In My skin, Kate Holden.
White Line Fever, Lemmy Kilmister.
The Happy Prince, and most other books or poetry by Oscar Wilde...ah, more more more

I love music, all of it. Almost...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just living, every day is amazing.
Sounds stupid, I know... but it's true and I'm a little tired of filling this out.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, I can teach a lot of things and I want to learn EVERYTHING, im a little sponge.
I can teach people how to knit squares or rectangles, nothing too complex...
Hang on...let me channel Napoleon Dynamite for a moment...

I have cooking skills, massage skills, hula hooping skills, palm reading skills...card playing skills, laughing skills, flexibility skills, fire twirling skills, riding a bike with no hands, pig latin, shoe lace tying, clapping with one hand (TRUE) and maybe these are all the skills I have...I don't know.

I want to learn anything that's fun and enjoyable, i want to learn any language you speak and I just want to learn....hahaha.
I am teaching myself Spanish at the moment, probably my favourite language. I would like some help though.
