Overview
About Me
Hi friends! I'm Lexie. Born and raised in California, but have spent much of my twenties living elsewhere, including Australia, Colorado, and on the road traveling.
I currently work as an Adventure Travel Guide, so I am lucky to get sent places for work!
A few things I love are the outdoors, coffee shops, and good conversation. I am always up for an adventure, whether that be getting lost in a new city, or hiking up a mountain!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
With my job, I'm in new regions of the world often. I try to get out and explore new territory wherever I am -- with that said, I'm pretty intertwined with work-people during my job, so Couchsurfing is a great way to meet local folks outside of my network. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to host (I'm always on the road!), but I prefer to stay with and meet locals to see places in the most authentic way possible! And hopefully... make a new friend too! :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've Couchsurfed a few times in the past in both Europe and Australia. Great experiences each time and have remained friends with a few of my hosts! I love meeting new people around the globe and sharing experiences or a simple conversation. I believe we are all more similar than we are different and Couchsurfing is an incredible way to see that.
Interests
If you haven't guessed, I love to travel!
I also love the outdoors -- camping, hiking, backpacking, sleeping under the stars! SWOON!
I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, exercising, good food, coffee, live music, sunshine, going for bike rides, reading, and writing.

-Snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef
-Drove the Great Ocean Road by motorcycle
-Motor biked for a week through Vietnam and another week through Thailand
-Hiked Mt. Rinjani in Lombok, Indonesia while I had Dengue Fever (the second part was not so amazing)
-Hiked, biked, and camped through many national parks in the USA!
