About Me

CURRENT MISSION

On a never ending journey discovering lifes endeavors.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student orginally from Las Vegas, Nevada - but studying International Hospitality Management in Flagstaff, Arizona. Overall, I am a free spirt who is open minded, loves meeting new people, saving up every last penny for that last minute backpacking trip, spontaneous adventures, etc. I am as laid back as they come, and just out to see the world and meet as many awesome people as I can who might or might not share the same interests as I do! I believe traveling is an awesome start in doing so. First real travel experience started off back in 09' during my second year in college, lived in Florida for half of a year doing a Disney Internship. I met many amazing people from all over the world there, and from there, only wanted to meet more! Moved to Italy in 2011 and lived in Torino for almost half of the year. Traveled to 18 countries during that time, and was probably the most life changing experience of my life, and something I will forever hold dearly to my heart. I just finished completing another internship in Hong Kong working for The Hong Kong Jockey Club from January 2012 to about the beginning of July. Hong Kong was such a beautiful experience for me, and the city itself is unlike any I have ever experienced. I had the chance at backpacking a bit of the surrounding areas, and was also able to check out beautiful Taiwan, Vietnam, & Thailand. I am now back in the states, and will be headed back to Arizona the beginning of August to finish up my undergraduate degree and will be graduating in December! Not sure what part of the world i'll end up in next, just going wherever the wind takes me (hopefully that will be Australia or South America come December!). Looking forward to meeting awesome people who are down to earth, who love traveling, who are open minded, and up for coffee & local trips, language exchange, etc! Message me if you are interested in any of the above! Check out my references to get a better idea of who I am as well!

UPDATE JULY 13th, 2013: I recently moved to Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands area. I am interning on a recreation team for one of the hotels on the island. Its been such an amazing experience so far. i was just recently Open Water Scuba Certified, which was life changing. Most recent, also just recently graduated university in May from Northern Arizona University.

PHILOSOPHY

Always positive, life is too short for negativity. Enjoy every moment, and never take anything for granted. I really do think that life is what you make it.. it should be nothing short of beautiful! Get rid of the negativity, temptation, and get out and explore the world and it's differences! I feel as though once you start traveling, there is no looking back.. :) Onto the next adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted yet, but I am looking forward to! Surfing is an awesome way to experience another's culture/values/traditions. Once in a lifetime experience, and the best way to learn what a person is about!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I participated in my first surfing experience in Budapest, my second one in Istanbul, and my third experience in London. I have also met quite a few CS along the way for day trips & coffee too. I have yet to have an 'iffy' experience, everyone I have met has been genuinely awesome, and all share the same interests in meeting new people, and getting to know the world in every possible light. Looking forward to many more CS experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

I read so much, I might just go cross eyed one day... until then, on an average day - you can find me in a park, with a good book, and a nice big cup of coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Traveled to 24 countries and 3 continents.-Road ATVs and a camel through a desert in Morocco - Africa.-Jet ski's around the entire Keys in Key West, Florida. (might not seem like much to the average American, but one of my fondest memories, with some pretty rad people)

Teach, Learn, Share

Comparing one's experiences with anothers only broadens your mind, and makes you want to travel even more! Hoping to connect with people that have traveled to places I have only dreamed about, and also people who might have shared some of the same experiences to reminisce with :)
