The two greatest passions in my life are science and travel. We live in a huge, crazy, complex world and science helps me to break it down into bits that make sense. But I also think it's important to look up from the microscope and experience the world in its entirety. Traveling helps me understand what can't be learned from books. I've learned so much about friendship and happiness from my travels and I'm so excited about what I'll learn from my future travels.

I love to soak up new cultures and learn about the history of new places by going to museums, shows, etc., but I'm also always down to party.
